Next week is Enviroweek!The Nature project group have been working on a plan to get the nest boxes that we built last year into trees around our school. We have designed ways we think they could be installed safely, researched nest box installation recommendations and explored what kind of trees around our school would be most suitable.
Matt (Zac Mile's dad) worked with the children last year to build the boxes and he is happy to help us install them. He has a 6m ladder and some ideas himself but we will need more help!
If you can help us with ideas for how we can get nest boxes high up in the trees or if you have any experience with nest boxes WE NEED YOU. If you can help on the day of installation (day to be advised) then let Simone know.
If you have any other ideas for Enviroweek that you would like to share with the children (maybe you work in an area related to sustainability or the environment or maybe you have a fun activity to help us learn more about the environment) then please let us know!
